Nursing Services
Nursing services provide residents with the care they need in a friendly, warm environment.
The Valley Care Masonic Center offers 128 nursing suites, which are large and beautifully furnished, providing warmth, comfort and security. Each resident neighborhood has a large dining room and lounge area leading onto a terrace. Here, residents have the space to dine, relax and spend time with friends and family. The meals are planned and prepared under the supervision of a registered dietitian.
The Valley Care Masonic Center is Medicare- and Medicaid-certified. A staff of registered and licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants provides 24-hour care. The Medical Director coordinates appropriate medical services for all residents. Social workers, pastors and therapeutic recreation specialists, as well as housekeeping, laundry and maintenance personnel, provide daily support services.
Memory Support Wing
The Staunton Wing of the Valley Care Masonic Center is a special care area specifically designed to serve residents with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias. The staff provides a daily activity schedule, which includes times for socialization, hydration, exercise and rest.
This residence is structured to maintain the dignity, respect and safety of all residents within a secure environment. The goals for residents on the Staunton Wing are to stimulate memories, promote coordination and increase feelings of self-worth.
