Community Outreach Services
Continuing in the fine Masonic tradition of community service provided by the Masonic Villages, the Outreach Program provides information, direction and education to individuals and families throughout the United States.
Outreach extends its hand into the community as a friend offering assistance to another friend. Outreach uses specialized programs, information, referrals, education and home assistance to guide and assist those in need. If you or someone you know needs help, call the Outreach Program toll-free at (800) 462-7664. Click here to view our brochure.
Loan Closet
When the need for medical equipment arises, finding and obtaining the necessary equipment may be only one of the challenges an individual faces. Another may be the financial burden it can place on the individual or family. Outreach has a limited supply of durable medical equipment available on a loan basis for short-term use. Equipment available includes hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower chairs and other varied equipment.
Caregiver Support and Education Group
Caring for a loved one can be a rewarding experience and, at the same time, a stressful one. The Caregiver Support and Education Group is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals to share information and experiences and to learn about a variety of available resources. Click here for a schedule of upcoming events.
Information and Referrals
Outreach has access to information on community services, personal care and skilled care homes, and government and state programs that provide assistance to individuals in need. Outreach can help you to understand what services may be available to you and make a referral to an appropriate agency.
Education
Outreach also provides a variety of educational and informational seminars on various topics throughout the year. Check our Web site periodically for updates.
Although the majority of our services are available to everyone in the community, below are three services that have been designed for Pennsylvania Freemasons and their families:
Home Assistance
Financial assistance may be available to Pennsylvania Freemasons and eligible family members. Whatever the need, Outreach will work closely with each individual to determine exactly which service is most appropriate. Call the Outreach Program for more information on this program.
Panel of Attorneys
Outreach has a list of attorneys who have volunteered their time and may be available to give direction to distressed brethren, their spouses and widows who are unable to retain counsel. Individuals needing legal advice with the ability to retain counsel may also refer to the attorneys on the panel who may be able to offer assistance.
Finance Panel
Members of the finance panel have agreed to share their time and talents with Pennsylvania
Masons and eligible family members who are in need of developing or improving budget skills. Each panel member has a professional background in the field of finance.
