William C. Davis, Jr., Chief Operating Officer - Health Care Services
William C. Davis, Jr. has been employed by Masonic Villages since 1990, first as Administrator of Health Care Services, and later assuming his current position of Chief Operating Officer, Health Care Services. Before coming to the Masonic Villages he worked for United Methodist Continuing Care Services from 1979 to 1990, with his last position being administrator at Laporte United Methodist Home.
Mr. Davis has been a member of a PANPHA Committee since 1988, serving on the Long Term Care Finance Committee from 1988 through 1990. He served on the Reimbursement Subcommittee from 1991 through 1994, on the Public Policy Committee from 1995 through 2002, and is currently chairman of the Central Region Payment Issues Committee. Mr. Davis is currently president of CEN PANPHA and is also serving on the PANPHA Board of Directors. Mr. Davis is a past chairman of Lancaster Area Senior Services (LASS, Inc.) which represents 16 not-for-profit PANPHA members in Lancaster County who work on joint ventures and public policy initiatives. In 2006 Mr. Davis was elected to the AAHSA House of Delegates. AAHSA, the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, is dedicated to creating the future of aging services.
Mr. Davis is an adjunct instructor at York College of Pennsylvania, teaching an undergraduate course in Fiscal Issues in Long Term Care. He has also served as an expert witness in NHA cases for the Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs.
He is a member of the Brethren in Christ Church and the Elizabethtown Rotary Club. He received both his bachelor's degree and his master of science degree in business administration from Bucknell University. He is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Nursing Home Administrator and is also certified by AAHSA as a Certified Aging Services Professional. Mr. Davis received the 2008 PANPHA (Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging) Paul P. Hass Lifetime Achievement Award.
