Community Celebrates the Holidays Together

On Wednesday, Dec. 7, Masonic Village at Dallas residents and community members joined together to celebrate the holidays with local flair at the Irem Country Club. During the Arts and Music Holiday celebration, approximately 100 people gathered in the Grand Ballroom to get in the holiday spirit with traditional and seasonal tunes from local musicians, including Meghan K. Davis, Harpist; Lake-Lehman Chorus; and Endless Harmony Barbershop Quartet.

Satiated with an array of hors d'oeuvres and refreshments provided by the Irem Country Club, guests perused through the art show featuring the artistic expressions of students from Lake-Lehman High School and Penn State Wilkes-Barre.

"When looking for entertainment for this event, we thought, 'Why look any further than our neighbors?" Noah Davis, executive director of the Masonic Village and Irem Country Club, said. "Our neighbors of all ages have unique gifts, and we wanted to showcase those in a way that would inspire our community to come together and celebrate this season as one."

At the event, families also had the opportunity to tour the Masonic Village's model retirement living apartments and villas. The homes in this 60+ community give residents the opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle of their choice since they do not have to worry about home maintenance and they have access to many amenities and services.
