Action Needed on Therapy Caps - All Medicare Beneficiaries Affected

Time is running out for Congress to extend the exceptions process that gives Medicare beneficiaries coverage for the amount of medically necessary therapy services they need. The exceptions process expires Dec. 31, 2011. If Congress does not extend the process before that time, annual therapy caps will go into effect.
