Time for Budget Advocacy is TODAY, June 4!

A few weeks ago, after the Governor proposed a 4% cut in rates to the Medical Assistance nursing facility reimbursement line item in his 2012/2013 budget, residents, staff, family and friends of Masonic Villages wrote letters and signed petitions to let our legislators know it is not acceptable to save money by cutting reimbursement that supports our most vulnerable citizens, those without funds in our nursing facility.

There will be a meeting tomorrow, June 5, in the Governor's residence between House and Senate leadership and the Governor to address the budget and future negotiations.
